Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is a gentle, mindful therapeutic movement practice. Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, it combines breathing, mindfulness practice and the flow of vital life energy to enhance physical and emotional wellbeing. The practice nurtures your emotional balance by regulating hormones, supporting metabolic function, enhancing balance and a sense of wellbeing. The practices are grounding, soothing, restorative, nurturing and healing. A regular Qigong practice restores the smooth flow of your life energy - your QI. No prior experience needed. Wear comfy clothes. Please contact [email protected] for a TRIAL class. Location: In nature. In Centennial Park on Thursday mornings at 8.30 am, or at Dunningham Reserve, North Coogee, on Saturday's at 8.00 am. Exact location will be advised upon time of registering.
