Would you like to be part of something meaningful and creative? Join our QLD 2 Region Mindful Stitching Project — a collaborative project bringing carers together through the simple, mindful act of stitching. Whether you join us online or in person with facilitators Jodie and Sheila, this is an opportunity to be part of something together. Take a breath, pick up your needle and thread, and spend some time stitching, connecting, sharing stories, having a laugh — or simply being present in the moment. 🧵 What is the project? We’re inviting carers across our region to create their own individual stitching square. Each square will be unique, reflecting the creativity, experiences and individuality of the person who made it. Together, these individual squares will be brought together to create one collaborative piece — a visual symbol of the strength, connection and support found within our caring community. One square on its own is special. Together, we create something stronger. This project is about more than stitching - Across our vast region, carers may be separated by distance and have very different experiences, but through creativity and shared moments, we can still find connection, recognise what we have in common, and remind each other that we are not alone. There is no one way to be part of a community. 💜 Come and be part of it You don’t need to be an experienced stitcher — Individual Mindful Stitching Kit provided, just bring yourself and a willingness to have a go. Together, our individual threads become part of something bigger. We’d love for as many carers across the QLD 2 region as possible to take part and help us create a beautiful symbol of community, connection and the strength we have when we come together.
