Cove Sound System Presents: Wax'o Paradiso

COVE SOUND SYSTEM INVITES WAX’O PARADISO @ THE SCARBOROUGH HOTEL (OPEN-AIR) With summer fast approaching, daylight savings to enjoy, premium MM acoustic speakers on hand and what we argue is the best view over the Pacific Ocean, this one’s a no brainer. After revitalising The Scarborough Hotel’s presence as the best pub on the coast, we’re inviting Naarm/Melbourne heavyweights, Wax’o Paradiso to deliver an extended open-air 3 hour set. Expect a blend of the finest disco, house, balearic and trance induced bangers accumulated over the past decade. Harnessing a harmonious balance between stalwart DJ duo (Simon TK and Edd Fisher), ever-reliable events series and record label, Wax’o Paradiso’s offerings have cajoled a passionate and dedicated community predicated on a commitment to creating playful and positive dancefloor experiences. Their stand-out performances at Meredith, holding down the 5 am sunrise slot, at Golden Plains and Strawberry Fields to name a few have established their presence as true professionals in the field. Cove Sound System DJs on support and Wax’o Paradiso taking the reigns for sunset. Proudly hydrated and supported by local craft brewery, Principle Brewing. We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which Scarborough stands, the Dharawal people, and their connection to the land, sea and Country. We would also like to pay our respects to all Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
