Friendships can be one of the greatest joys of childhood—but they can also be one of the biggest sources of stress. From gossip and exclusion to friendship groups, social media, and the transition to high school, today's girls are navigating challenges that many adults never experienced at their age. Mean Girls is a fun, interactive and empowering workshop designed specifically for Year 6 and Year 7 girls to help them build confidence, strengthen self-worth, and develop the skills to navigate friendships with courage and kindness. Through engaging activities, open conversations, creative exercises and practical strategies, girls will learn how to: Recognise healthy and unhealthy friendships Respond confidently to mean girl behaviour Build resilience and self-confidence Manage friendship conflict in positive ways Set healthy boundaries Handle peer pressure and social media comparisons Celebrate what makes them unique This is a safe, supportive space where every girl is reminded that her worth is never determined by someone else's opinion. Created and facilitated by qualified Youth Therapist Sammy Mahler, this workshop combines therapeutic knowledge with warmth, connection and real-life tools that girls can take home and use every day. Every participant will leave feeling empowered, supported and with a deeper belief in who they are. Because confident girls don't need to tear each other down—they learn to lift each other up.
