Come join us at our Food Waste Pickling Workshop! Not only are pickles healthy, tasty and cheap to make, they can help reduce food waste. Our expert in residence Bri, a volunteer for Bellambi Neighbourhood Centre, True Hearts Warilla and Green Connect Farm and Illawarra-based preserver that donates her goods to OzHarvest, will guide you through the process of pickling, ensuring you never have that awful feeling of throwing away old produce again! Learn how to take your excess or damaged/ wrinkled produce and make something new and delicious with it. This hands-on event will take place at the Green Connect Farm Hub, where you'll get to taste and take home a jar of your delicious creation. Don't miss this opportunity to learn a new skill, make new friends and impress your friends and family with your pickling prowess.
