Writers Walking Group

Come for a stroll along Wollongong’s beautiful blue mile and chat with others who, like you, have an interest in writing. This group is not about critique, feedback or exchanging work but about sharing our experiences of the writing process and meeting other writers. The walk will last approximately an hour. If you’d like to stay for another half hour or so, there’ll be a chance to grab a cuppa from one of the nearby cafes while we find a seat that takes in the view and continue on with the discussion. When: Tuesdays, 3:30–5pm. The group will be ongoing from Tues 22nd July 2025 (excluding school holidays). Where: Meet Julie Keys between Diggies and the North Wollongong Surf Life Saving Club. 1 Cliff Rd North Wollongong at 3:30pm. Suitable for: Writers of all levels, whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience. Cost: Free for members of the SCWC. Bring/Wear: hat, sunscreen, water, comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
