Love Letters From The Diaspora: An Evening of Storytelling

Join us for a heartfelt night of stories, poems, and love (and an open mic!) from across the diaspora, presented by The Fourth Space. What love story did your culture teach you? Love Letters from the Diaspora is an intimate evening of folklore, storytelling, poetry, and song exploring how love is remembered, expressed, and carried across cultures and generations. Hear epic romances, family stories, poems, songs, and reflections on love, memory, identity, and belonging. Whether you come carrying a story of your own or simply want to listen, everyone is welcome. The night will end with an open mic segment, where you are free to share your own stories, songs, and poems of love. Light refreshments will be provided! Everyone is welcome - you do not need to be from a diasporic community to attend. This initative is presented by The Fourth Space and sponsored by the City of Calgary as part of the Calgary Culture Days Initiative.
