Altered Book Book Club: Chapters of Me

Explore different chapters of your life through altered bookmaking, mixed media and creative expression in this three-part workshop series. A three-part creative workshop series with Art Therapist Jasmyne Smith at InnerSpace Art Therapy. Our lives are made up of so many different chapters. Some we've closed, some we're still figuring out, and others we're just beginning. Chapters of Me is a creative, three-part workshop series that invites you to explore different chapters and phases of your life through the art of altered bookmaking. Using books as our canvas, we'll experiment with mixed media, layering, collage, imagery, words and other creative techniques to transform the pages of a book into something uniquely your own. Each workshop builds on the previous one, offering opportunities for creative exploration, personal reflection and discovering new ways to tell your story. Whether you're drawn to revisiting memories, exploring where you are now, or imagining what might come next, this is an opportunity to slow down, get creative and see where the process takes you. No previous art experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment! Workshop Details • Facilitator: Jasmyne Smith, Art Therapist. RP • Location: InnerSpace Art Therapy, Hamilton, ON • Format: Three-part workshop series • Individual workshop: $42 • Full series: $115 • Dates: October 23, October 30, November 6 • Time: 5:30 - 7:30 pm You are welcome to register for an individual workshop or the full three-part series. Each workshop will build on the last, so joining us for all three will allow you to continue developing your altered book throughout the series. * If you sign up for all 3 sessions, a refund of the monetary difference will be made on your account to accomodate the reduced fee ($115) Spaces are limited to allow for a more intimate & creative experience.
