Guests will enjoy a relaxed, social evening while learning skills that can double or triple someone's chance of survival in the case of sudden cardiac arrest. I have no underlying heart conditions, and to this day there is no known cause for what happened. Thanks to the quick action of those around me and lifesaving medical care, I survived — but not everyone is as fortunate. That’s why this cause is so important to me. Unlike many other health conditions, there is no prevention for sudden cardiac arrest. It can strike without warning, at any time, to anyone — including myself again or even my loved ones. The only protection we have is immediate action through CPR and access to an AED. My mission now is to make sure our community is prepared. If more people are confident in performing CPR, we can truly save lives. This is why I’m hosting my second annual Raise a Glass, Restart the Heart — a night to raise awareness, build skills, and come together in support of heart health and lifesaving education.
