The First-Time Buyer Blueprint | Free Kelowna Home Buying Workshop

Your first home, explained start to finish. Four industry pros, one evening, real answers. Free, with food and drinks. Seats are limited! Buying your first home in Kelowna can feel like a lot. The rates. The down payment. The paperwork. The quiet worry that you're missing something. I remember that feeling. So I've brought together the people who guide first-time buyers through this every day, for one relaxed, honest evening. What you'll learn You'll hear from four local pros, in the same order you'd work with them when you buy: • Rebecca Mondor, Royal LePage ~ the roadmap: what buying looks like, start to finish • Jacqueline Zerbe, Total Mortage ~ mortgages: pre-approval, the stress test, and down payment options like the FHSA and RRSP Home Buyers' Plan • Matt Gratton, A Buyer’s Choice ~ home inspections: what inspectors look for, and common red flags in Kelowna homes • Dani Brito, Acorn Law Corporation ~ the legal side: what happens after you remove subjects, closing costs & statement of adjustments. Then we'll open it up for Q&A. Ask out loud or write your question down anonymously. No question is too basic. You'll also get • Charcuterie and light refreshments • A take-home folder with checklists from each pro • A couple of fun games, plus door prizes Who it's for Renters thinking about buying in the next year or two, or anyone who's started looking and feels a little lost. Come on your own or bring your partner. No pressure and no sales pitch. Just real answers, so your next step feels clear instead of overwhelming. We're keeping the group small so there's time for real conversation. Save your seat below. Doors: 6:00 pm. Presentations start at 6:20. • Location: Kelowna Events Center ~ "Sunset Room" • Parking: Free parking on-site • Age: Adults only • Photos: parts of the evening will be filmed and photographed for social media. • Cost: free, no obligation.
