An invitation to exhale. Join Ashley Lord for a serene and cozy evening of gentle yoga, guided relaxation and hot stones at Rising Earth Collective in Summerland. We’ll begin with slow, grounding movement, easy stretches, & energy practices giving you time to unwind, soften and settle into your body. Then, nest beneath your favourite blanket for an extended savasana (guided relaxation), accompanied by soothing music and Ashley’s restorative poetic words. During this final rest, warm stones will be placed on your clothed body for an added touch of warmth and comfort. An evening to move gently, be guided, give yourself a little room to breathe and be deeply cared for. No yoga experience needed. This group class is very gentle and perfect for all bodies. This in-person experience is all about unwinding stress patterns and grounding the body to guide the nervous system towards balance. Perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and gently recalibrate. Hot stones Therapy is an ancient modality used in treatment for deep relaxation and recovery for centuries. Improving energy flow and promoting ease in the body. They are volcanic, rich in iron, and hold heat evenly, which makes temperature control easier for safety and comfort. The details • $55 per person • A small group of up to 15 guests • Rising Earth Collective, Summerland • Wear cozy clothing and bring your favourite blanket. Yoga mats provided. •Optional to bring an eye mask or something to gentlty cover your eyes. Hot stones are offered during guided relaxation as part of this shared class experience. Everything takes place fully clothed, and receiving stones is optional. Your guide Ashley Lord is a poet, voice artist and restorative practitioner with over 15 years of experience guiding rest and relaxation.
