Etransfer $111 [email protected] 🥋Tai Chi is a gentle Chinese martial art that blends slow flowing movements and mindful focus to improve balance, flexibility, and inner calm. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, it helps cultivate and circulate Qi (vital energy), supporting the health of the organs, improving digestion, circulation, and lung capacity, and calming the mind and nervous system. Regular practice can reduce stress, ease joint pain, enhance immunity, and promote overall vitality and longevity. 🧘Blaise Baillargeon has been studying Tai Chi for over 20 years. In addition to Tai Chi, Blaise also instructs Lok Hup BA Fa, H Singi Chaun, Tai Chi Sword, Sabre and Chuan. During our classes Blaise will teach traditional Tai Chi 108 movements and will incorporate warm ups and Qi Gong 5 elements. Blaise is a practicing Manual Osteopathy in Durham Region. 🧘‍♀️Heather Wilkinson has been training with Blaise for 2 years. Often Heather assists in leading the classes while Blaise gives one on one instruction to each student. Heather recently received her certification in Tai Chi Easy - including breathwork, meditation, Qi Gong & self massage. ☯︎ We do Tai Chi indoors during the fall & winter season at 513 Westney Road South, Ajax. Classes are Thursday evenings at 7:30pm. We began our 8 week program. There are 7 weeks remaining. You may still join us! We will review the foundational movements every week! 🅿️ 513 is a brown building on the south east side of Westney and Clements Road. You can turn at the light onto Clements Road and enter the parking from Clements or Westney. When you arrive drive to the back and go thru the black gate. We are in the back loading dock area. Park anywhere. 👟Wear comfortable loose clothing and bring indoor shoes. 💧Bring your own water bottle. Additional water will be available. 🪷Don't be shy! You don't need to know anything about Tai Chi to attend.
