IMPACT IN ACTION: Ottawa Community House Bus Tours

Tour Ottawa Community Houses, meet local teams, explore neighbourhoods, and see the impact of community-led programs across the city. OCCH Community Bus Tours Date & Time: November 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM (ET) Start & End Point: Rideau Community Hub, Saint Laurent Boulevard, Ottawa, ON, Canada Join us for a day exploring Ottawa’s Community Houses across the city! Starting at the Rideau Community Hub, you’ll hop on one of three buses to visit a mix of 16 Community Houses in different neighbourhoods. You’ll get to meet staff and community members, learn about local programs, and see firsthand how these hubs support everything from food security to newcomer services. The routes are designed to give you a broad view of Ottawa’s diverse communities and the unique role each Community House plays. There’s no group lunch stop, so each bus can keep things moving and spend more time connecting with the neighbourhoods. By the end of the day, all buses return to the Rideau Hub. It’s a great chance to see the real impact of these neighbourhood hubs and build stronger connections with the people behind the work. Accessibility & Accommodations We want the Community House Bus Tour to be accessible and welcoming to all participants. If you have accessibility requirements or require accommodations to participate comfortably in the tour, please let us know when registering so we can work with you to support your needs.
