The Art of Movement

Inspired by Haleta an ancient Ge'ez word that is also used in Amharic it is a a state of becoming and the threshold between where we are and where we are going, The experience invites participants to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and explore movement as another form of expression. Following the class, participants will take part in The Art of Reflection, a moment to pause and reflect after moving through the space, followed by a curatorial tour of HALETA – The Threshold of Being with the curator Danayit Zeru, offering a deeper look into the exhibition, its artists, and the ideas of possibility, memory, transformation, and becoming that shape the show. Come as you are. No previous Pilates experience is necessary just bring a mat, towel, water bottle, and something comfortable to move in.
