Join the Saskatchewan Transplant Program (Saskatchewan Health Authority) and Canadian Blood Services for a free community screening of Because I Can, a Canadian documentary following one living kidney donor’s journey through the Kidney Paired Donation Program — the national program that can turn a single donation into a chain of transplants. After the film, stay for a live expert panel and audience Q&A with healthcare providers from the Saskatchewan Transplant Program, a living kidney donor, and a transplant recipient. No medical background needed. Come curious. Right now, more than 100 people in Saskatchewan are waiting for a kidney transplant. One evening can change how you think about what one person can do.
