Language Happy Hour: Soluna Social

Practice languages, meet new people & connect with Toronto’s international community in an elegant, Latin-inspired setting Language Happy Hour is back at Soluna! 🌎✨🥂 Join us on Thursday, October 22 from 6:30–11 p.m. for an evening of language, conversation and connection in one of Toronto’s most elegant social spaces. This edition of Language Happy Hour is all about what started our community in the first place: bringing people together. Practice a language you’re learning, connect with native speakers and fellow learners, meet people from different cultures, make new friends, network — or simply enjoy a great conversation with someone new. All languages and all levels are welcome. Whether you’re fluent, learning your first few phrases or simply curious about other languages and cultures, there’s a place for you here. 🌎 What to expect • Language exchange throughout the evening • Friendly, international crowd • All languages and levels welcome • Opportunities to mingle, make friends and connect 🎧 DJ/Music Afro House mixed with global house, Latin rhythms and melodic electronic music, with the music more atmospheric earlier in the evening and building later. *Quietest period for conversation is earlier in the evening. ✨ Venue This event takes place inside Soluna, a sophisticated Queen West supper club with a beautiful, Latin-inspired atmosphere. With October marking Hispanic Heritage Month, it's the perfect setting to celebrate language, culture and connection — while, as always, welcoming all languages and cultures. *This event is thanks to our incredible team of LHH volunteers and the LHH coordinator for this event, Akash Chatterjee. 🌎 About Language Happy Hour Language Happy Hour is a Toronto-based community bringing people together through language and culture.
