An Inclusive Collective Healing Circle for Women. Explore how Psychotherapy, Yoga and Ayurveda Can Support You in Reclaiming Your Body. WHAT TO EXPECT: Welcome to a circle that is led by science and grounded by spirituality hosted by Shakti Empowerment & Counselling Inc. Open your minds and hearts to both evidence based practices from the west and ancestral wisdom from the east. • Guided storytelling activities & heart opening conversations grounded on research - led by Sumu Sathi, MSW, RSW, PhD stud. & Psychotherapist • Join an inclusive yoga asana practice focused on women’s health (chairs available for those who need it) - led by Thushani, Founder of Thara Yoga & Wellness • Learn about ayurvedic rituals, nutrition and ancient healing practices for women’s bodies - Geethanjali Santhosh, RMT, RH, & Chief Practioner at Niramaya Ayurvedic Wellness Light snacks will be provided This event is not hosted by or sponsored by the Toronto Public Library
