Star Wars: Unlimited Homeworlds Prerelease @ Board Games Arboretum Toronto

Welcome to Changeling Gaming! Join us at the Arboretum, we're hosting a prerelease tournament for the newest set of SWU! HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS: To save on Eventbrite fees, tickets are sold online directly through the gamesarboretum.ca. This Eventbrite page is just for information to learn more about the event. Changeling Event Type: Special Event, recommended 16+. What is a Prerelease?: Players will get a box containing 6 Homeworlds booster packs and then will make a deck of at least 30 cards. They will then get to use that deck to duel against other players. What to Expect: Star Wars: Unlimited is an easy-to-learn, fast-paced duelling Trading Card Game featuring all of your favourite characters from the Star Wars universe. Homeworlds is the ninth and newest set, focusing on creatures and alien worlds. Please help us keep our events fair and accessible. So that we can all have a good experience, we ask that players please participate in all three rounds of the event. If you pick up a kit but do not play, you may be asked to not return for future events. All players are reminded to follow the Changeling Gaming Community Policies at all times, and Changeling reserves the right to ask participants to leave or withhold prizing for poor conduct. General Admission Tickets: Tickets are priced and sold per person. Admission includes 1 Homeworlds Prerelease Kit and access to the Arboretum playspace tables for up to 3 hours of gaming, and support from a Changeling Gaming expert for newer players. If tickets are sold out for this event, please join the waitlist to be notified if a space opens up! Waitlists & Walkups: The competition will start at 6:30 PM sharp! If you are late and your seat is available, you may still join in, but your time will not be adjusted. Seats are held for the first 20 minutes (from 6:00 to 6:20pm) before they are sold to those on the waitlist or walkups. If you do not arrive before 6:20 to check in, your kit and seat will be made available to the next person in line. Prizing: • If you win all 3 of your games, you will receive 3 extra packs* • If you win 2 of your games, you will receive 2 extra packs* • If you win 1 game or no games, you will receive 1 extra pack* *All packs will only be handed out at the end of the event. Membership & Passes: Changeling Gaming Memberships include event discounts for our community. After just two events within a 30-day period, our members save, with the potential of over $80 per month! For this event, since product is included, there is no discount for members. About Board Games Arboretum: Your new friendly local game shop in Toronto's Liberty Village. We have board games, TCGs, TTRPGs, puzzles and accessories as well as a playspace for games and events. Food & Drink: We do not offer any food or drink but outside food & non-alcoholic drink is welcome. We also have a Stay & Play Partnership with local venues along the laneway. Show your ticket up to an hour either before or after the event to receive a discount on your purchase to enjoy during or after the event! You can also stop by the shop for additional discount coupons to other local vendors.
