The Good Swap + Ollie Quinn

The Good Swap is Toronto's monthly clothing exchange for all genders, all bodies, and all ages. All of the dopamine, none of the dilemma. We are teaming up with Canada's spectacles glasses supplier, Ollie Quinn, for a clothing and accessories swap at their downtown location, 387 Queen Street West! TGS is supported by the City of Toronto through Live Green Toronto and the Neighbourhood Climate Action Grants program. _________________________________________ SWAP GUIDELINES Glasses & Sunglasses Have glasses you no longer wear? Bring them to the swap! All unswapped glasses will be donated to the Canadian Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centre (CLERC). Clothing & Accessories • Bring 10 clothing items or fewer. Please respect our item limit. (Accessories and glasses are unlimited!) • Check your items. No holes, stains, missing parts, or broken pieces. Everything should be clean, folded, in useable condition, and ready to be loved again. • Use scent-free soap. Wash items before bringing them At The Event • Be kind. Treat everyone with respect and give each other space. • Don’t hoard. Try things on as you go and return anything you decide not to keep so others can browse it. • Don’t hover. Keep the drop-off table clear and let volunteers put items out before looking through them. • Bring things someone else can enjoy. The swap isn’t a place to dispose of worn-out or damaged items. • Take to wear, not to sell. Choose items you or someone you know will use, and aim to take home about as many as you brought. • Keep it joyful. Don’t do stuff that makes us write more rules. It’s just clothes! Read the Agenda & FAQ below for more information! _________________________________________ ABOUT OLLIE QUINN Beyond eyewear, we believe in giving back. Please note that we cannot guarantee the condition of items or the outcomes of any swap. Take precautions: wear a mask if you wish, use hand sanitizer, and wash your items once you get home.
