2026 Fat Ass Full Frosty Beaver Moon Half

This is a free, low key, no support, bring your own water/food half marathon trail run along the Red river, the Seine river and Fermor. This is a free, low key, no support, bring your own water/food trail run along the Red and Seine rivers. The total distance of the run is 21.1km (standard half marathon distance) which starts and ends at the Forks in downtown Winnipeg. The race is held Saturday, November 21, 2026 – the closest Saturday to the full moon and will start when the sun is long gone (7:00pm). The Manitoba Association of Trail Runners MATR (www.matr.ca) has made this event part of its single track runs. If you like running, especially on trails, go visit their site. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you have a headlamp for this event.
