People spend a surprising amount of time sitting in a car without actually driving it. Many Chinese automakers have decided that this time should be fun: customisable interiors, games, animated avatars and more. Meanwhile in Europe, a lot of us are still waiting for the navigation to start working properly. This evening is a talk with space for open discussion. Some of what we'll get into: How is the in-car experience being designed in Asia compared to Europe and the US, and why? A big, pretty screen vs physical buttons? What do European concepts promise, and what do we actually get in our cars? Will people still be driving in ten years? And if not, how will the car's interface change?
