Angler Fish Film Fest

Join us for an evening of psychological horror shorts, slow-burn thrillers, dark comedies and other oddities from all around the world!! Like the creature we are named after, we are drawn to the strange light beneath the surface. The anglerfish lures its prey with something beautiful and inviting, drawing it closer before revealing what hides in the dark. It is this tension between attraction and terror that we seek in film. Stories that pull you in with intrigue, curiosity, unease and maybe even beauty, only to consume you with something far more terrifying. We embrace horror in all its forms: psychological nightmares, unsettling thrillers, dark comedies, experimental films, and stories that blur the line between the familiar and the disturbing. In Berlin, we gather to experience the uncanny together, discover emerging voices, and celebrate filmmakers who aren’t afraid to look beneath the surface. Help us pick this Season's "Darkest Vision" Award! A perfect opportunity to meet Film Crew's from all over the world and Berlin too! Step closer. The light is waiting.
