TL;DR We’re building a home for Berlin’s psychedelic community: a series of evenings where the clinical and the cultural come together. A space for scientists, psychologists, practitioners, and the curious, to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and move the conversation forward together. We also want to make each evening enjoyable for the senses, with great food and drinks, experiences for the body and the mind, all in a cosy and friendly atmosphere. We want you to leave nourished, with new ideas, an open mind, and new (or deepened) connections. Our first edition includes a panel that explores ketamine and psilocybin as both therapies and cultural phenomena, and what each can teach us about the other. Program 6:00pm doors open 6:30pm welcome and activating psychedelic breath (we start on time) 6:45pm panel 7:30pm food and drinks 8:15pm breakout conversations 9:00pm close and mingle 10:00pm farewell The panel Ketamine is already used in clinics across Europe. Psilocybin truffles are legal in the Netherlands, still in trials elsewhere, and deeply rooted in ceremony. What can each teach us about the other, and what gets lost between the clinic and the culture? Our panel brings together psychologists, physicians, and practitioners in psychedelic-assisted therapy and rituals. Names will be announced soon. Food and drinks Warm autumn food, fresh iced tea, and a selection of hot drinks. The evening is alcohol-free. The ticket covers everything. Tickets Early registration gets a discount: 25€ if you register by Oct 4 28€ if you register by Oct 28 30€ regular price from Oct 29 The evening is limited to 20 guests. We review every registration to bring together a good mix of people and perspectives. Selected guests receive a payment link, and the spot is confirmed once payment arrives within 48 hours. Breathwork The opening session is active and opens your mind to new perspectives. It's safe for most people, but there are contraindications. It's 15 minutes only. Location A private location in Friedrichshain, Berlin. Fine print About the hosts Clear Field Clear Field is a Berlin-based duo building guided psychedelic retreats. The retreats draw on science to make psychedelic experiences safe and accessible, and they're designed so the insights last well beyond the session. VanessaVanessa studied business psychology, co-founded Pitch in 2018, and has spent the past twelve years in Berlin’s startup and VC world, building cultures where people come first. Alongside this, she has worked in leadership coaching, helping people connect with their strengths and find the leader within themselves. She has always been passionate about creating meaningful experiences and has followed the psychedelic field and its research for many years, bringing together her interest in people, culture, and the potential of psychedelics to create experiences that genuinely stay with you. NatalieNatalie came to psychedelics late, afraid of all the usual things: losing control, a difficult experience, not knowing what or whom to trust. Clear Field brings together what she found there, her scientific mindset, and years of guiding people through intense experiences. She holds a PhD in physics from Oxford, has taught at Harvard and MIT, and worked at McKinsey before building her own ventures in tech and embodied practices. She runs a breathwork studio in Berlin Kreuzberg, is a certified Psychedelic Breath teacher and mental-health first aider, and hosts intimacy workshops. She's now building a platform, online and offline, for modern practitioners, including the psychedelic community. Sophie Adler Sophie-Charlotte A. Adler, MSc, is a psychologist, hypnotherapist and systemic psychotherapist in training, specialising in therapeutic work with altered states of consciousness. She developed Ketamine-Assisted Hypnotherapy (KAH) and, together with Prof. Dr. Dirk Revenstorf, offers training and supervision in the method for doctors, psychologists and therapists. She also advises clinics on implementing ketamine therapy. She has published on the therapeutic potential of psilocybin with Carl Auer and leads psilocybin retreats in the Netherlands. She is a member of Nectara in Canada. Simon Reichersdörfer Simon is our host for the evening. A supporter of the vision, he is kindly opening his home in Friedrichshain for our first edition. He chairs the Board of Trustees of the MIND Foundation and directs its INSIGHT Forum, a lecture series that pairs psychedelic research with music, art, and meditation. About the vision Most of Berlin's psychedelic community works on its own: researchers, therapists, practitioners, freelancers, fans. We meet at one-off events and festivals, then lose track of each other until the next one. This series is a regular home, a set of evenings where the clinical, the scientific, and the cultural come together to meet, connect, and exchange ideas. Like any good date with friends, the conversation is only part of it. Expect nice food, a cosy room, nourishing activities, and time to talk with people you'd rarely meet otherwise.
