Come dressed for an occasion. For our 2nd anniversary, we're taking The Link Up somewhere very special. On October 24th, we're taking over Palau Dalmases for a night celebrating African culture, creativity, connection and community through art, conversation, networking and music. Think museum opening meets The Link Up. Come ready to look, listen, talk, think, meet someone new — and then party with the connections you've made. Because that's what The Link Up is all about. ✨ A Valuable Night The Link Up isn't just a networking event. And it isn't just a party. We create rooms where something valuable can happen. As African music, fashion, art and culture continue to influence the world, we want to ask: Who gets to define African culture abroad? What happens to our identities when we create outside the continent? And as African culture becomes increasingly global — who gets to benefit from it? Expect art. Expect different perspectives. Students, people between jobs, people figuring life out, newcomers to Barcelona, older members of our community, people looking for opportunities, people looking for friends — you're welcome too. And while The African Society centres African culture and the African diaspora, you don't need to be African to attend. Some just found somewhere they could walk into and see familiar faces again. That's the community we're celebrating on October 24th.
