An invitation to slow down, turn inward and make space for deep rest. Release Physical Tension: 60 minutes of slow, guided Yin Yoga. Sink Into Deep Relaxation: 30 minutes of therapeutic sound. Gently Resurface & Reconnect: 15 minutes to ground, return and enjoy light refreshments, with an optional community share. Release Physical Tension Ease into 60 minutes of slow, guided Yin Yoga. With the gentle support of bolsters, you'll be invited to find your own unique expression of each pose, exploring a balance between sensation and ease. Through stillness, mindful breathing and sustained, gentle poses, we'll explore the body's deeper connective tissues, cultivating patience, softening into sensation and creating space for rest. Rather than striving to achieve a particular shape, this is an opportunity to honour your own edges, listen to your body and meet yourself where you are, without judgment. Sink Into Deep Relaxation Continue your journey with a 30-minute therapeutic sound experience, immersed in the soothing vibrations of live crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, accompanied by other percussion instruments. Allow the sounds to wash over you as you soften, surrender and let go of effort, giving yourself permission to simply receive. There's nothing to achieve or work towards here — just an invitation to settle into stillness and allow yourself to rest. Gently Resurface & Reconnect We'll close with 15 minutes to slowly ground and return, with light refreshments and an optional community share. This is a gentle space to integrate your experience, reconnect with yourself and others, and ease back into the evening feeling grounded and restored. Experience Level No prior yoga or meditation experience is required. This practice welcomes all levels, with space to honour your own needs, move at your own pace and reconnect with your inner guide. Come as you are, with an open heart and a curious mind, and simply let the rest unfold naturally as you journey Yinward. Date: Sunday 8th November 2026 Time: 18:45 – 20:30 (inclusive of optional 15 minutes refreshments/community share) Location: Easthampstead and Wildridings Community Center, Rectory Lane, Bracknell, RG127BH. The Benefits of the Practice A space to pause, soften and reconnect with yourself. Release physical tension — Gently explore areas of tightness and stiffness through supported, longer-held Yin Yoga postures. Cultivate calm and stillness — Step away from the demands of everyday life and invite yourself into a slower, more restful state. Deepen relaxation — Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds and vibrations of crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, allowing yourself to settle into stillness and simply receive. Reconnect with yourself — Tune into your body, cultivate mindful awareness and give yourself permission to slow down without expectation. Feel grounded and restored — Take time to gently integrate your experience and return to your day feeling more settled and refreshed. A Little More About Yin Yoga Yin Yoga is a passive practice that provides a supportive and held space for you to slow down, breathe, relax, and let go of held tension in the body. Through mindful awareness and sustained, gentle poses, we target the deep connective tissues of the body, including the fascia, ligaments, tendons and tissues surrounding the joints, helping to support joint health and improve mobility. This practice invites us to soften, surrender and create space in both the body and mind. Within this safe container, we start by arriving on our mats, connecting with our breath and grounding into our bodies. With the support of the bolster, we move slowly and mindfully through a sequence of floor-based Yin poses (asanas), taking care to find our individual edges (where we feel a gentle, manageable sensation without strain or pain). Once we arrive at our edge, we soften and surrender to the stillness. Here, we cultivate patience and acceptance as we aim to hold each pose for around 3–5 minutes. It is within this stillness that the deeper layers begin to release and unfold, creating space in the physical, mental and energetic bodies. The nature of Yin Yoga is deeply meditative and invites us to direct our intention and attention inward. Once Yinside, we can really get to the heart of the practice by observing our inner landscape and meeting ourselves where we are in the present moment, without judgment. Throughout the practice, we will weave in elements of somatic sensing, mindfulness and heartfulness (loving-kindness), which deepen the experience by shining a light on what's been hiding in the body and mind. This class is an invitation to honour your edges, to reconnect with your true nature, and to leave feeling grounded and deeply relaxed. A Few Things to Know Before You Arrive Please Bring With You Please bring your own yoga mat and any props you usually use in your practice, such as blocks, straps or a bolster, if you have them. We'll provide a bolster, so don't worry if you don't have one! As Yin Yoga and sound journeys can be cooling, your body temperature may drop as you settle into stillness. We recommend bringing a blanket, warm layers and cosy socks to help you stay warm and comfortable throughout the session. You're also welcome to bring extra pillows, an eye mask or anything else that helps you feel supported and settled. Come prepared to slow down, soften and give yourself permission to rest. On Arrival Free parking is available onsite. Doors open at 6.35pm, and I'll be waiting to greet you in the lobby. Please check in with me before making your way into the main space, where you'll be greeted by soft music and candlelight. I respectfully ask that we maintain a sense of quiet in the main hall, allowing everyone the space to get comfortable and settle in ahead of the session.
