Family Workshop: Christmas Card Making

Make and decorate your own Christmas card using Gelli Plate printing methods in the Golden Thread Gallery Hub. Come along to a Golden Thread Gallery Family Workshop in our Community and Engagement Hub. Our Family Workshops take place on the first and third Saturday morning of the month. In each family workshop, we create a new artwork inspired by one of our exhibitions or a seasonal holiday! In our next workshop, experiment with Gelli Plate printing to make and decorate your own Christmas card using tree and snowflake motifs! Feels too early to think about Christmas? Use or bring along some fallen leaves to create an autumnal relief print design for your card. In this session, we’ll be using water-based inks for printing and have aprons available to protect your clothes. All our workshops are free and all materials are provided; however, donations are welcomed. More information is available on our website. For further information email [email protected] .
