Full description from organizerShow less
A three-hour workshop of Breathwork, Story, and Letting Go. That reset you didn't realise you needed. A Morning of Breathwork, Story, and Letting Go A three-hour workshop to make space for whats needed. When is enough? Modern life asks us to move faster and feel less. This gathering is a gentle refusal of that rhythm. As autumn sheds its leaves and we approach Samhain, we make space for our own letting go. For what is ending, what we’re grieving, and what we no longer need to carry. A space to let the noise fall away, loosen the mask of performance, and breathe without needing to hold it all together. What to expect Embodiment: We begin by simply noticing the body as it is, without trying to fix or change anything. Through gentle movement and sensing, we locate where we are standing and let the body settle into the room. Myth: I will speak an ancient story into the space. These are not just tales; they are maps. We use them to move our attention away from personal problems and into a wider, more enduring landscape. Breath: Using a rhythmic, connected breathing technique, we transition into a deep state of internal focus. This is a guided, safe process that allows the nervous system to let go of its grip and reveals what is already waiting in the quiet. About your Guide: Hi, I’m Brian. I’m a father, a husband, an artist, an educator, and I'm approaching my 10th year as a facilitator of conscious work. I also spent over a decade in the arts and academia before realising the most important work happens when we drop our titles and come back to breath, body, and real presence. My conscious work, is about building small, held containers where people can safely meet the depth of their own experience. I don’t offer fixes; I offer a grounded, compassionate space for you to find what you need. I’ve worked across breathwork and somatic traditions, guiding 100's of people into gentle altered states where emotional and bodily shifts unfold. I’ve trained deeply in breathwork, somatic practice, and trauma‑informed coaching, and completed a multi‑year mentorship in relational and mythic work. My training includes intensive programmes in breath‑based and body‑centred approaches, as well as a year‑long immersion in myth, somatics, and ritual practice, all of which feed directly into how I hold space today. All of it has shaped how I work, not just in theory, but in lived experience. My spaces are built with care, study, and a lot of life lived. Frequently asked questions Do I need any experience? No. You don’t need experience of breathwork, meditation, or mythology. Everything will be guided. What will happen during the workshop? We’ll move through gentle embodiment, storytelling, and guided breathwork, making space for rest, reflection, and letting go. What kind of breathwork will we be doing? A rhythmic, connected breathing practice guided by Brian. Please read the health information before booking. Do I need to know anything about mythology? Not at all. Simply listen and notice what speaks to you. There’s nothing to study or prepare. Is this only for people experiencing grief? No. You might be navigating change, feeling tired, carrying too much, or simply needing some space. Who is guiding the workshop? Brian brings nearly ten years of facilitation experience, with training in breathwork, somatics, trauma-informed coaching, and mythic work. When and where is it happening? 25 October, 11am–2pm, at The Well, Quarries Farm, Bangor. Is this workshop suitable for everyone? Breathwork isn’t suitable for everyone.
