90 Minute Yin Yoga Workshop

Yin Yoga workshop with slow, held poses to release tension & calm the nervous system, finishing with guided meditation and relaxation. Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice where seated poses are held for several minutes at a time. Unlike more active styles, yin works into the deep connective tissues, ligaments, joints, and fascia, rather than the muscles. By staying still and softening into each shape, we give the body space to release tension gradually, and the nervous system room to downshift into a more restful state. It's less about strength or flexibility, and more about patience, stillness, and presence. Expect a calm, introspective practice: a chance to slow down, breathe, and simply be with whatever arises. Learn about the philosophy of Yin and the holistic benefits of the practice. We will close the practice with a guided meditation and laying down relaxation.
