Just a few days after the Autumn Equinox, we gather as nature settles into a new rhythm. The harvest season is underway, the days are noticeably shorter, and the landscape gently encourages us to slow down, simplify and turn our attention inwards. On the Wheel of the Year, this is a time of balance, gratitude and preparation as we move from the outward energy of summer towards the quieter months ahead. This Gong Bath offers a gentle pause amidst the busyness of life—an opportunity to slow down, settle the nervous system, and reconnect with a deeper sense of balance and presence. Still around 98% illuminated, it rises at approximately 7:06 pm, close to the start of our evening, while the sun sets just beforehand at around 6:52 pm, allowing us to gather as daylight gently gives way to moonlight. The waning Moon invites us to reflect on what has reached completion, to acknowledge what we have learned, and to begin gently releasing anything that no longer serves us.
