A guided breathwork journey into altered states of consciousness for perspective, clarity & self-discovery Between Breaths: Conscious Connected Breathwork Journey into Altered States of Consciousness Saturday 21st November | 12.30pm - 14.00pm Revitalise Studio, Hove Limited to 10 participants This 90-minute guided breathwork session is designed for people who are curious about the deeper transformative and consciousness-altering effects of breathwork for emotional release, clarity and insight, but want to explore these states in a safe, guided and trauma informed environment. Through conscious connected breathwork, it’s possible to enter expanded states of consciousness that can bring clarity, emotional release, vivid imagery, deep insight, and a stronger connection to ourselves and our inner world. While these altered states can sometimes feel intense or unfamiliar, they can also become powerful spaces for self-discovery, perspective shifts, and healing. Many breathwork experiences focus purely on intensity and catharsis. This session takes a different approach, drawing on principles of pendulation and titration and using breath retentions to gradually move between activation and regulation. This allows the nervous system to explore deeper states without becoming overwhelmed. The aim is to create a safe and supported space for emotional release, insight, and exploration while remaining connected to your body, your breath, and your sense of safety. The session will include: • Gentle warm-up and grounding exercises • Guided conscious connected breathwork • Pendulation between activation and regulation using breath retentions • Trauma informed facilitation • Meditation and embodiment practices • Journaling and integration time at the end • Optional post-event group hang out on the beach! The closing meditation will focus on returning home to the body, learning to sit with ourselves, listen inwardly, and begin integrating insights that surfaced during the journey. This is a small and intimate group experience with space for individual care and attention. Whether you’re completely new to breathwork or already exploring deeper practices, this session is designed to help you approach altered states with curiosity, steadiness, and self-trust. Your facilitators Your journey will be guided by Ellie and Jez, two experienced breathwork facilitators bringing together different backgrounds, approaches and energies to create a shared, immersive experience. Ellie is a 300-hour trained Holosomatic Breathwork practitioner, having completed her training with Innercamp. Her approach draws on conscious connected breathing, emotional exploration and integration, with an emphasis on creating a supportive, trauma-informed space. Jez brings his experience from the world of community breathwork events, and co-founded the IceTribe sessions in London where breathwork was combined with cold plunge and sauna experiences. Together, we'll weave our different approaches into a considered journey, creating space for exploration, release and reconnection. Your safety and comfort are at the heart of the experience. We'll be there to guide and support you throughout, meeting you where you are and encouraging you to move at your own pace. If you have any questions or concerns before the session, please feel free to reach out to either of us directly. What to bring: • Comfortable clothing • A blanket or anything that helps you feel cosy and supported • Water • A journal if you’d like to write afterwards Blindfolds will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if preferred.
