In Other Words Poetry Night Brighton December

In Other Words: The All-Stars Show We’re back… sort of. And before we find our next home, we’re going out with a bang. Join us for what might be our last In Other Words Poetry Night for a little while, as we bring back EIGHT of our previous headline and feature acts for one gloriously star-studded evening of words, stories, laughs and a lovely bunch of people. Ten incredible poets. One stage. A ridiculous amount of talent. And, naturally, a few feelings along the way. And of course, it wouldn’t be In Other Words without our open mic! We’ll invite 10 poets to share the stage with our returning headline stars, with names drawn at random from the magic hat that night. Whether you’re a devoted poetry lover, a secret poet, someone who thinks poetry “isn’t really your thing”, or you’re simply looking for a warm, friendly night out, you’re very, VERY welcome here. We’re all about making poetry feel less intimidating and much more like a night with good people. Expect big feelings, silly moments, words that stay with you, and lots of loveliness. Come on your own, bring a friend, or bring someone you’re trying to convince actually likes poetry. We don’t know exactly what comes next for In Other Words, but we do know we want to celebrate what we’ve built together. So come and help us make this one count. Come for the poetry. Stay for the people. And if this is goodbye for now, let's make it a bloody good one. 💛
