Many Ways to Say It: Strengthening Everyday Practice (Advancing)

You know the methods — now let's put them into practice. This session builds on the foundations of multi-modal communication, helping staff apply strategies flexibly across everyday routines like transitions, mealtimes, and group activities. Explore how combining methods can support learners with more complex needs, how to recognise and respond when a learner initiates communication, and how to spot (and reduce) the everyday barriers that get in the way. Take your communication practice from good to great! This module has been accredited by the NCFE and can be considered when working towards the NCFE Award. Participants are required to complete five modules, including the mandatory module.
