This session explores the use of concrete resources, visual representations, subitising, storytelling and playful learning to build mathematical thinking, fluency and confidence. Staff will gain practical strategies for making maths accessible, engaging and relevant across a range of SEND pathways. This module has been accredited by the NCFE and can be considered when working towards the NCFE Award. Participants are required to complete five modules, including the mandatory module.
