Aiming High & GAIN: Bringing Gloucestershire’s Inclusion Networks Together

Join Aiming High and GAIN as we bring our networks together to share learning and strengthen inclusion across Gloucestershire. Active Impact and Active Gloucestershire are working closely to bring together organisations working across the arts, leisure, wellbeing and physical activity sectors to help them welcome and include disabled children and young people. We are excited to bring together our two inclusion networks together. For this autumn network event, we look forward to creating new opportunities to connect, share learning and strengthen inclusive practice in activity providers across Gloucestershire. The Aiming High & Gloucestershire Active Inclusion Network • Aiming High - Inclusive Activities for Young People Network - bringing activity providers together to connect, learn and share ideas to improve their inclusive practice and welcome more disabled young people to their activities. • Gloucestershire Active Inclusion Network (GAIN) - bringing people and organisations together to provide active opportunities for people with disabilities in Gloucestershire. This event is a great opportunity for you to meet other activity providers, connect and share ideas and updates. We meet at inclusive venues around the county and this autumn we're at The Patch. The hall has step free access, blue badge spaces are available at Q-Parking and accessible toilets. Autumn Meeting Highlights • Funding skills workshop • Inclusive Activities Award Presentation Plus - Your chance to share new or upcoming opportunities and ask the network for resources and support to help make them happen. Additional Information Session Timings: Arrival from 9:30am for Networking and Refreshments, for a 10:00am start. Accessibility: Step free access and accessible toilet available on site. Parking: Car parking is available at Q-Parking, including accessible parking spaces. More parking is available at a further walking distance. Public Transport: The venue is located about 2-minute walk away from the Gloucester Transport Hub which serves most bus lines in Gloucester.
