Join author and illustrator Rose Robbins for a creative comic-making workshop inspired by her graphic novel, Cat School. Rose will begin with a reading from Cat School and talk about how she develops characters and stories from everyday experiences. All art materials will be supplied. £3 for Children / Accompanying Adults FREE Suitable for ages 7–11. When booking your tickets, please include all adults and children attending. This event will also be at Beeston at 2pm ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Rose Robbins has been making up stories since she was about four years old, around the same time she decided that learning to talk to animals would become her life’s mission. Sadly, the animals have yet to cooperate. Nowadays, she’s an award-winning author and illustrator, writing stories and drawing pictures for a living. Her internationally published children’s books are highly character-led and explore themes including neurodiversity, friendship, and, naturally, talking animals.
