Free Eco-therapy and Sound Bath Event in Temple, Midlothian

Learn skills to connect you more deeply with nature, followed by a relaxing sound bath. Please bring your own yoga mat, blanket and cushion (a duvet to lie on instead of a yoga mat will be fine if you don’t have one). Do you find yourself going for walks in beautiful places, only to discover you’ve been so lost in your own world that you’ve barely noticed what is happening around you? Eco-therapy – the practice of consciously connecting with nature – has proven mental health benefits. Come along to this free event, to learn skills that will connect you more deeply with nature. A one-hour, outdoor ecotherapy session in Temple will be followed by a deeply relaxing and beautiful one-hour sound bath in Temple Village Hall. This event is funded by the Carcant Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund/Foundation Scotland. It is offered by local Buddhist charity Tariki Trust. Your facilitators will be local ecotherapy practitioner Stephen McCabe and sound therapist Lindsay Agnew from Gaia Sound Journeys. This is one of four free nature-based wellbeing events happening across the Moorfoot area of Midlothian in 2026 - 2027.
