Stay in touch through the 'Friends of the Newhay, Dawlish' Facebook group, or email [email protected] or [email protected] to get involved. Who are Friends of the Newhay? We’re a community action network of local residents bringing people together to help shape a shared vision for the Newhay as a thriving space for people and wildlife. The Save the Newhay petition, started by a local resident, raised awareness and showed how much this place means to Dawlish. With support from Dawlish Town Council, people came together to understand the situation and explore who could help. Since then, we’ve been meeting to plan this event - to bring together support for the Newhay and show the local community and the Diocese how much it means to our community. We want to bring together local ideas, skills and resources, and help establish a community-led social enterprise that could work with the Diocese to support the Newhay’s long term care. We need the community’s support to move forward. This event is your chance to share what matters to you and explore what we can achieve together, now and for future generations.
