Why not enjoy a scenic train journey along the beautiful Tarka Line from Exeter to Yeoford? The journey from Exeter St David’s takes approximately 20 minutes, and Yeoford station is just a two-minute walk from the pub. A lovely, relaxed way to enjoy a Sunday out without having to drive! About The Duck at Yeoford The Duck is a charming 19th-century country pub, known for its excellent food, welcoming atmosphere and lovely selection of local Devon ales, wines and ciders. The owners, Sarah and James, are friends of mine. I've known James since my days working in country house hotels, when he was a head chef, and I can personally recommend his wonderful cooking! It's a lovely place to spend a leisurely Sunday afternoon. Website: www.theduckatyeoford.co.uk Who Can Attend Open to singles over 50.
