Festive Family Yoga - The Barn Owl and the Bright Star

Breathe, stretch, and relax with your family in a cozy yoga session inspired by The Barn Owl and the Bright Star story. Join us for a magical family yoga adventure as we follow the story of a barn owl who, on one clear winter’s night, meets a beautiful bright star. As they talk, they discover more about each other, reflect on the year gone by and share their hopes and wishes for the New Year. We’ll bring the story to life through simple, fun yoga poses, including Star and Tree Pose, beginning our adventure with calming Star Breathing. A gentle and imaginative session combining storytelling, movement and mindfulness for the whole family. We’ll finish off the session with a delicious brownie or blondie, the perfect little treat after our magical yoga journey! Story and sequence designed by Margaret Burgess, your host for the morning and founder of Indigo Warrior Yoga. No previous yoga experience is needed. The session is designed to be beginner-friendly, with adaptations offered for more experienced yogis.
