A look back at Yorkshire's great folk, blues and jazz festival through film, photographs, discussion + music from Emily Druce & Steve Jones TALK, FILM, EXHIBITION, MUSIC, DISCUSSION THE KRUMLIN FESTIVAL AUGUST 1970 INCLUDES LIVE SET FROM EMILY DRUCE & JONES TRIO Celebrating the major Yorkshire Folk, Blues and Jazz music festival at Barkisland. Infamous for rain, mud, financial troubles, missing (Pink Floyd), new star (Elton John) and cancelled bands (Frank Zappa) and an organiser who walked off into the moors never to be seen again. The Film Festival has the archive – interviews, pictures. We will discuss what happened. Plus a performance from one of the bright lights of the British blues scene.
