Through the steady pulse of the drum, you’ll be invited into a deeply meditative and embodied experience designed to awaken instinct, release held energy, and reconnect you to your primal rhythm. The drum is one of humanity’s oldest medicines. Its beat echoes the heartbeat, the Earth’s pulse, and the ancient rhythms woven through our bodies and nervous systems. This work is grounding. It is raw. It is deeply restorative. And it meets you exactly where you are. Using repetitive drumming within a safely held ceremonial space, we move beyond everyday thought and into a place where insight, imagery, emotion, memory, and deep rest can naturally arise. No experience is needed. Simply come as you are and allow the rhythm to carry you. This is a drum-only immersion held as a ceremonial experience rather than a traditional sound bath. Rather than layering multiple instruments, we work with the focused power of rhythm and entrainment — allowing repetitive drumming to guide the nervous system into deep states of rest, awareness, and connection. This is an active energetic journey rather than passive background relaxation. A GENTLE NOTE The rhythmic nature of drumming can sometimes bring forward emotion, imagery, physical sensation, or unexpected insight. You are always in control of your experience and invited to engage at your own pace. This is a grounded and safely held space where whatever arises is welcome. CONTRAINDICATIONS This experience may not be suitable for everyone. Please contact me before booking if you: • Have epilepsy or a seizure condition • Experience sound-triggered neurological sensitivity • Have severe PTSD, dissociative conditions, or are currently in acute psychological crisis • Have a serious heart condition affected by rhythmic stimulation • Are currently experiencing psychosis or severe mental health instability • Are pregnant and have concerns around sound or altered states If unsure, please reach out before attending. The drum may fall silent… but the pulse remains within you. Your guide Rebecca is a qualified Art Psychotherapist , Shamanic Energy practitioner ,Reiki Healer & Medicine Woman. Her journey began in 2012 helping people use art to support their emotional, physical wellbeing and mental health, developing her practice and advancing into spiritual healing. The studio is up two flights of stairs. Free street parking outside the building. If you arrive early please wait in the car I will collect you 10 minutes before the session starts at 6.50pm.
