Astrology, Identity and Self-Discovery - Introduction to Astrology

Explore astrology beyond your star sign and discover how the stars can help us make meaning, understand ourselves and navigate life. ✨ Join me, Alexandra, for an evening of cosmic curiosity as we explore astrology beyond your daily horoscope. The intention of the evening is to discover how astrology serves as a spiritual and psychological tool to help you find and make meaning, navigate life, and understand yourself through the stories hidden in your birth chart. As a PhD student, psychologist and astrologer, I've read many birth charts and found through talking with participants for my research that astrology is a fascinating and ancient system that has the ability to help us really understand ourselves and the world around us. During this session we'll start with a talk about astrology - its origins and how it's commonly used today in the West, why it's interesting, and the 'how to' and benefits of practicing astrology before focusing on your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs, uncovering what they represent and how they reflect different parts of who you are. You'll be invited to provide your birth details when booking so I can calculate your Sun, Moon and Rising signs ahead of the event, ready for you to explore on the night, ending the session with a friendly discussion about what your placements mean, giving you more insight into your astrological makeup. Expect a fresh perspective, some self-reflection and a sprinkle of stardust for all levels - from complete beginners to astrology-curious souls :)
