Floating Sound Bath, Washingborough

Resting on mattresses in the warm pool area - kept at a constant 30°C - you'll be supported and comfortable as gentle sound washes over you. Tucked away in the village of Washingborough, the calm and spa-like setting of the pool helps create a deeply relaxing atmosphere. Through sound, we create space for the body and mind to settle - allowing you to fully rest, reset and tune into what feels present for you. This becomes a chance to simply pause, breathe and let yourself be held by the sounds and the atmosphere around you. The hour long session will include: • A short guided settling meditation once floating • A sound bath using a variety of soothing instruments including a gong, tubes and chimes • Time to rest deeply and switch off from the pressures of everyday life • Eye masks Please bring: • Water and anything else you'd like to help you feel comfortable and cosy • A light blanket - the pool area is warm, but it's still easy to feel cold while lying still during sound therapy • A pillow, and something to place under your knees if you'd like - both can help with optimal comfort • Comfortable clothing or swimwear, whichever you'd prefer - you won't be getting in the water • Anything else you need to fully relax Mattresses are provided. A qualified lifeguard will be present throughout the session. The pool area is booked for one hour. You're welcome to stay afterwards for refreshments and a chat, time permitting - if you can, it's worth allowing a little extra time in your evening. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Because spaces are limited and our costs are confirmed in advance, all tickets are non-refundable.
