London Tech Leaders Executive Dinner - Secure or Fast: Open source delivers both

As organisations scale their technology estates across data centres, cloud and edge, complexity can quickly create new silos between teams, platforms and environments. At the same time, the rise of AI and modern workloads is placing new demands on infrastructure, flexibility and speed. For financial services organisations in particular, the challenge is even more pronounced. Strict requirements around where and how workloads, data and platforms can be deployed can drive increasingly isolated environments. While these approaches can support security and compliance, they can also introduce complexity and limit the flexibility and efficiency needed to take full advantage of AI and other emerging technologies. But security and speed don't have to be competing priorities. Join SUSE for an intimate dinner with technology leaders from the Financial Services industry to explore how open source can help organisations build infrastructure that is secure, flexible and capable of moving at pace, without creating new technology silos. Over dinner, we'll discuss: Security vs speed: How can organisations maintain rigorous security and compliance without creating the friction that slows innovation? How can organisations maintain strong security and isolation without creating inefficient technology silos? How can infrastructure choices unlock rather than limit the potential of AI and modern workloads? What are the particular deployment, security and infrastructure considerations facing financial services organisations? How can open source and open ecosystems enable greater choice, interoperability and consistency across complex environments? As with all London Tech Leaders events, this is a free-to-attend event, with food and drink complimentary. The discussion will take place under Chatham House Rules.
