RelyComply presents: Topics Left on the Table, Fourth Edition

Six individuals (to be announced) in finance and AI will debate if AI actually help in the fight against financial crime. To fully secure your space, we ask that you purchase a ticket for any amount (minimum £1). All proceeds will be donated to Hourglass, a UK-registered charity that seeks to end the harm, abuse and exploitation of older people in the UK, a demographic that is susceptible to financial crime. All guests will be subject to approval to ensure that we can maintain a high-value, senior, non-sales focused discussion. The motion: AI is a hindrance to fighting financial crime in the UK Six individuals across finance, policy and academia will fight for and against the motion, with a moderator taking a vote at the end of the debate to see who has swayed the audience to agree with their side. The debate will explore if the notion that AI will help in the fight against financial crime is all hype, if investment into AI is not necessarily the right (or only) move to heavily lean into, and whether this is just a tick-box exercise or if AI will really help the UK make real steps to fighting financial crime effectively. Participants cannot attribute quotes to any panellists or take photos without the panellists explicit permission.
