Soul Sanctuary Sunderland presents: A Relaxing Soul Sanctuary Sound Bath With Marie A little space for you, in the middle of your week. 🤍 Come along, slow down, switch off and simply rest for a while. Perfect for a midweek reset, while the kids are at school or simply because you need some time for you. ✨ Take some time to slow down for a beautiful, relaxing sound bath, where you will be immersed in the healing frequencies and resonant vibrations of sound. Simply settle in, relax and enjoy some uninterrupted time for yourself, as the gentle waves of sound create a sense of calm and spaciousness. This is the perfect way to step away from the stresses of your week and give yourself some time to simply be. ​ Join me for a peaceful 75 minutes of sound bathing at Soul Sanctuary Sunderland. As you enter the space, you can leave all of your cares at the door. You can forget about the world outside for a little while and allow yourself this time and space to relax, to breathe, to just be. You will be welcomed into our warm, cosy sanctuary, where pillows, blankets, a yoga mat, and an eye mask are thoughtfully provided for your comfort. Just bring water and your intention to relax and receive. With space for just 10–12 people, each sound bath is a small and peaceful gathering. This is your invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself ~ body, mind, and spirit. What to expect: You will be invited to lie down comfortably on your mat, close your eyes, and simply receive. We begin with a short guided meditation to help you settle and relax into the space. From there, we gently flow into the sound bath. Allow yourself to simply listen and be, as the soothing sounds of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and gongs surround you. There is nothing you need to do, nowhere you need to be, just time to rest, breathe and enjoy the experience. When the sound journey comes to a close, I will gently guide you back, followed by time for stillness, integration and reflection. ​ Sound healing can be experienced on many levels... mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. The frequencies and harmonic resonance of sound can help the mind settle into deeper states of rest and relaxation, while offering space to let go of tension, quieten the mind and reconnect with yourself. Many people leave feeling lighter, more centred and deeply relaxed, with a greater sense of calm and wellbeing. This is more than simply taking time out. It’s an invitation to slow down, turn inward, awaken your senses and enjoy some much-needed space to simply be. Step into this nurturing space and allow the sounds and vibrations to gently guide you towards a place of peace, calm and rest. ​ Event Includes: • Cushions, blankets, a yoga mat and an eye mask are all provided for your comfort • Healing sound frequencies from gongs, singing bowls and chimes and much more • Optional oracle card pull for guidance and inspiration • Peaceful candlelit ambience • Time for grounding and reflection afterwards What to Bring: A yoga mat, pillow, bolster pillow, cosy blanket and eye pillow will all be provided for your comfort. You may also wish to bring • A sealed water bottle to stay hydrated • Wear warm, comfortable layers • You can also bring your own mat and blankets if you wish for extra comfort and warmth Benefits of Sound Bath Therapy May Include: • Deep relaxation & nervous system reset • Reduced stress and anxiety • Improved sleep quality • Mental clarity and focus • Energetic rebalancing and chakra alignment • Emotional release and spiritual connection Contraindications: Sound therapy is a gentle and low-risk holistic practice, however there are a few contraindications that mean it may not be suitable to attend. These include: • This session is not suitable for individuals with severe mental health conditions, including schizophrenia or unmanaged bipolar disorder, and attendance is not permitted in these cases. • Pregnancy in the first trimester - please consult with your GP • Having a pacemaker or serious heart condition • Sound-induced epilepsy If unsure, feel free to contact us before booking. I'm happy to chat with you about any questions or concerns you may have. Important Information: • Please arrive around 15 minutes early to settle in. Sessions begin promptly and late arrivals cannot be admitted once the sound bath has started. • This session is for people ages 18 and over due to the stillness and sensitivity of the experience. • As spaces are limited, refunds aren’t available, however if more than 72 hours notice is given - you can transfer your ticket to a future event. If less than 72 hours notice is given, you’re welcome to gift or transfer your ticket to a friend if you’re unable to join us. • Open to all experience levels - no prior meditation or sound healing experience is needed.
