The Brain Tumour Charity's Dragon Boat Race

On Saturday 26 September, gather your crew and climb aboard for The Brain Tumour Charity's first ever Dragon Boat Race. Together, we'll face down the dragon with paddles, determination and the power to make a difference. Fifteen teams will go head-to-head, racing for the honour of lifting our inaugural The Brain Tumour Charity Dragon Boat Race trophy. But while only one crew will cross the finish line first, every team has the chance to be a winner by raising vital funds for people affected by brain tumours. Never set foot in a boat before? Perfect. No experience is needed, and fancy dress is not only welcome, it's encouraged. Whether you're fearless Vikings, heroic pirates or a crew of colourful characters, you'll take your place behind the dragon's carved head, paddling in time to the booming beat of the drummer as you surge towards the finish. While entire teams of 17 people can sign up (a literal boat load!), you can also sign up as an individual and join one of our mixed crews of ragtag rowers. What matters most is smashing your fundraising goals and helping us move further, faster towards kinder, better treatments for all brain tumours.
