'Howl at the Moon' Halloween Planetarium - After Hours

Experience an evening with the stars after hours at Southend Central Museum and Planetarium, as part of our Museum Lates series. Spend an evening with the stars at the country's only remaining analogue planetarium, after hours at Southend Central Museum and Planetarium. Join us from 6pm at Southend Central Museum on 15 October, to explore the museum before uncovering the mysteries of the moon in the planetarium, after hours. 'Howl at the Moon' is a spooky take on our 'Exploring the Moon' show, themed for Halloween and scaled up for adults as part of our 'museum lates' event series. Doors open at 6pm, with half an hour for exploring the museum downstairs. The show begins at 6:30pm, and the event finishes by 8pm. Please note: once the show has started the lights are turned off in the planetarium to allow eyes to adjust for the star globe. As such, there will be no late admissions. Prebooking is essential.
