Magic Mountain: Sipping Alpine Wines in the Snow

Picture this: wooden panels, a crackling fire, antlers adorning the walls and a red-and-white chequered table cloth. We can't fly you to an alpine lodge but we can serve you some delicious wines from these snowy mountain slopes. Wines made from high altitude vineyards are definitely having a moment, from the indigenous grapes of Savoie and Jura to crisp Alto-Adige whites and light reds from the Dolomites. Fresh as an alpine stream - perfect for cutting through robust mountain cuisine – these wines are also concentrated and complex, with a mineral power that we just love. Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste six to eight wines on a theme, and bread, cheese, and charcuterie are provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
