As winter settles around us and we approach the Winter Solstice, nature gently invites us to slow down, turn inward and embrace a little more stillness. Join Art of Love Sound Baths for a truly special Winter Sound Bath at The Orangery, Ingestre, a beautiful historic venue nestled within the Staffordshire countryside. With its elegant architecture, magnificent windows and peaceful atmosphere, The Orangery provides a wonderful setting for an evening of deep relaxation, reflection and restoration. As the winter evening draws in, we'll create a warm, welcoming, candlelit sanctuary where you can step away from the busyness of everyday life and simply be. Surrounded by the beautiful acoustics of this historic space, you'll be immersed in the therapeutic sounds and vibrations of gongs, crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes, drums and other carefully selected instruments. There is nothing you need to do. Simply lie down, get warm and comfortable, close your eyes and allow yourself to receive. As layers of sound gently fill the space, you're invited to release the constant doing of everyday life and settle into a quieter state of simply being — giving your body and nervous system time to rest, regulate and restore. A Moment of Stillness Before the Solstice Held on the weekend of the Winter Solstice, this special gathering offers an opportunity to honour the changing seasons. The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year and the gradual return of the light. Symbolically, it is a time for reflection, renewal and embracing the quieter rhythms of nature. Before the celebrations of Christmas and the arrival of a new year, gift yourself something truly valuable — uninterrupted time to rest. No previous sound bath experience is needed. Preparing for Your Experience Please bring a comfortable mat to lie on, along with a pillow, warm blanket and anything else that will help you feel cosy and fully supported. We recommend wearing warm, comfortable clothing, as body temperature can naturally drop during periods of deep relaxation. Arrival: Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the experience begins. Once the sound bath has started, entrance will not be permitted, helping us preserve the peaceful atmosphere for everyone attending. Please note: This experience is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, sound-induced epilepsy or during the first trimester of pregnancy.
